How it works
Most people qualify for more than they realise, and give up somewhere in the paperwork. This is built to get you through that part.
- STEP 01
Answer a few questions
Eight short steps about your household, income and situation. Every question can be skipped and your progress saves as you go.
- STEP 02
See what you may qualify for
We check your answers against each program's published rules and sort the results by what needs your attention first.
- STEP 03
Get organised and apply
A checklist of the documents you will need, a link to the official application, and somewhere to track it afterwards.
Why this is different
A blank answer is not a no.
Most screening tools store your answers as yes or no. Leave a question blank and it quietly becomes a no — which fails the rule, and tells you that you do not qualify for help you may well be entitled to.
AidMap keeps an unanswered question as unknown all the way through. If we cannot decide, we say so, and we tell you the one answer that would settle it.
Typical screener
income = blank
You do not qualify
Wrong, unexplained, and final.

Names the answer that would decide it.
What we will and will not tell you
AidMap screens your answers against each program’s published eligibility rules. That is enough to tell you a program is worth applying for, and enough to explain why. It is not the same as being approved.
Only the agency or organisation running a program can decide your eligibility and your benefit amount. So we say may qualify, never qualify — and we show the reasoning behind every match so you can spot a wrong answer.
Start with a few questions- Every match is explainedThe rules you passed, the ones we could not decide, and the ones you did not.
- Coverage stacksA Marketplace credit, a hospital discount and a prescription program can apply to the same bill.
- You see the sourcesEach program carries its official source and when it was last checked.
- Minimal dataWe ask only what a program actually tests, and never sell any of it.
